We are 17 year old girls who live in west philly, raised by single immigrant mothers who have known each other since the first grade. Our goal for our long journey of life is to enrich our knowledge and exceed our limits .

A few months ago we were presented with an opportunity to travel Rome with an organization called CIEE.This organization helps students learn the customs of new atmospheres around the world they take students to historical landmarks while learning it’s history and language and provide provides us students with college credits. We put forth a sound essay and have received a scholarship. Thus we are within the 5.75% of applicants that got a scholarship unfortunately the scholarship doesn’t cover all the cost of the program. Our dream is to be able to experience new cultures and open our horizons to new opportunities. We want to do this with all our hearts because it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. by April we ask for the kindness and generosity that you have to bring to help us make $5000 to close the gap of the scholarship.
