Support Our Devoted Mom in her battle against cancer
Donation protected
Our mom Heather is a devoted high school teacher and a full-time bartender/server at Chili’s. She works tirelessly to support her family, including two sons still living at home, one of whom is autistic.
In January of 2024, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a bilateral mastectomy March of 2024. Since then, she has faced multiple rounds of chemotherapy, surgeries, and procedures. Her most recent surgery on December 30th was a major operation to remove her reproductive organs and take biopsies.
While the surgery initially went well, she was rushed to the ER yesterday with a 104-degree fever and complications at the surgical site. Doctors discovered internal bleeding, and she was admitted to the ICU, where her vitals became unstable. Emergency intervention was required to place a stent to control the bleeding, and she remains in critical condition, facing a long road to recovery.
These medical hardships have kept her from working, making it difficult to manage growing medical bills and household expenses. She has always been the one to give back to others—through her teaching, her work, and her family. Now, she needs our support.
This GoFundMe aims to help cover her medical and household expenses during this incredibly challenging time. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to her and our family. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would also be a tremendous help.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity as we rally behind her in her fight against cancer.
