Hi everyone,

My name is Chrismery, and I am currently a dental hygiene student who will be graduating in 2027 alongside an incredible cohort of future hygienists.

Although graduation may feel far away, anyone in a healthcare program knows how quickly these two years fly by. Between clinical requirements, exams, patient care, and balancing life outside of school, we are already working hard toward one of the most meaningful milestones of our journey... our Pinning Ceremony.

The pinning ceremony is a special tradition in healthcare programs. It symbolizes our transition from student clinicians to licensed professionals and represents years of dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance.

Our cohort is small — just 9 of us — which has made our bond even stronger. We want to ensure that when 2027 arrives, we can celebrate this moment in a meaningful way without financial stress added at the last minute.

By starting this fundraiser early, we hope to:

• Secure a beautiful ceremony space

• Provide commemorative items

• Cover décor and ceremony materials

• Offer light refreshments for our families and supporters

• Capture professional photos to remember the day
