Support Roy Higashi, a big part of our Camping World Family

Roy Higashi, based out of the VA Accounting Hub, needs no introduction to those of you working in the Camping World family in the 17 locations across five states. He has worked here in Manassas, Virginia, for the past three and half years where he currently heads the Deal Posting Team, after previously working in the payroll department.

Roy was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Gallbladder Cancer, a very rare form of cancer and often diagnosed at a late stage. Roy and his family--wife Caron and their four adult children--will have a tough road ahead.

While working at Camping World, Roy's passion has always been to make everyone's job a lot easier. He has written numerous excel programs that are used by many of us at the Hub as well as his Deal Review Utility written for and used by the locations. These programs, while outside of his normal responsibilities, have greatly improved the efficiency and accuracy of the work performed at the Hub. Even with this diagnosis, Roy continues to come to work every day and make us smile.

Roy has a huge heart when it comes to animals. He has owned horses, dogs, cats, and birds. He also enjoys fishing and hunting. More recently, he has been enjoying going to craft shows with his wife.
