Many of you know Miss Noemi Oregon, from the Omega Ladybugs room. Our beloved teacher’s husband, Fernando Labrada, has suffered with diabetes for many years.
Unfortunately, two weeks ago he had an infection in his foot that ultimately lead to the doctor’s decision to perform a partial amputation of the foot. Sadly, the infection had already spread and his kidneys started failing. He hasn’t been responding well to treatment. An MRI indicated that he has suffered several strokes on both sides of his brain, and he stopped breathing several times. He is currently in the ICU and his prognosis is not good.
Miss Noemi, our dear teacher, who has worked at Educare Children’s Center for 6 years, is facing this difficult situation on her own. As a school we are doing everything we can to support her but we realize that during times like this, it may not be enough. If you are able to make a financial contribution to help support her during this difficult time, it would be greatly appreciated by her and all of us who love her.
