We are sharing this call with you in the hope of supporting our dear companion, Gonca Fide, one of the CNVC (Center for Nonviolent Communication) certified trainers in Turkey, in her healing journey—with the contribution of a solidarity network that extends beyond our local community.

For nearly 10 years, Gonca has been fostering deep connections with people and contributing to transformative steps on the path of nonviolence. Recently, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The treatment plan ahead presents many financial and emotional challenges that she is not accustomed to. During this time, we want to support her, help her feel that she is not alone, nurture her trust in life, and mobilize our collective resources to stand by her.

As Gonca reduces the number of her trainings in order to focus on her treatment, her income decreases significantly. Right now, her most pressing need is to cover the costs of her medical care. The budget required for surgery, radiation therapy, PET scans, doctor consultations, pathology assessments, and other medical procedures exceeds our available resources, and we are still in need of contributions. In our effort to cover the full amount by February—when her surgery is scheduled—we are launching this support call. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help bridge this gap and make a meaningful difference in her healing journey.

We believe that together, we can support Gonca through this difficult time and contribute to her resilience. Every act of solidarity reminds us of the abundance of resources and brings to life the awareness of our deep interconnection.

Şiddetsiz İletişim Türkiye topluluğunun sertifikalı eğitmenlerinden, sevgili yol arkadaşımız Gonca Fide’yi, sağlığına kavuşma sürecinde bizim yerel topluluğumuzun ötesine geçen bir dayanışma ağının katkısıyla desteklemek ümidiyle bu çağrıyı sizlerle paylaşıyoruz.

Gonca, yaklaşık 10 yıldır insanlarla derin bağlar kurarak şiddetsizlik yolunda dönüşüm adımlarına katkıda bulunuyor. Kısa bir süre önce meme kanseri teşhisi aldı. Önündeki tedavi planı Gonca’nın alışkın olmadığı pek çok maddi ve duygusal zorluk barındırıyor. Bizler de bu süreçte ona yalnız olmadığını hissettirmek, hayata güvenini beslemek ve el birliğiyle kaynaklarımızı seferber ederek ona destek olmak istiyoruz.

Gonca, tedavi sürecine odaklanabilmek üzere bu dönemde eğitimlerinin sayısını azalttığı için gelirleri önemli ölçüde düşüyor. Şu anda onun için en önemli konu, tedavi masraflarını karşılayabilmek. Ameliyat, ışın tedavisi, PET çekimleri, doktor görüşmeleri, patoloji değerlendirmeleri ve diğer tıbbi süreçleri içeren bütçe kaynaklarımızı aşıyor, katkıya ihtiyacımız devam ediyor. Tüm bu miktarı ameliyatın yapılacağı Şubat ayı içinde tamamlayabilme çabasıyla da bu destek çağrısını hazırladık. Gönderebileceğiniz her katkı, bu açığı kapatmamızı sağlayarak onun iyileşme yolculuğunda büyük bir fark yaratacak.

İnanıyoruz ki, bu zor dönemde Gonca’yı birlikte destekleyebilir ve ona güç verebiliriz. Dayanışma temelli her etkileşimimiz, bize kaynakların bolluğunu hatırlatıyor ve birbirimize bağlar bilincinin hayat içinde canlı bir tezahürü oluyor.
