Help Send Our Daughter to Milan, Italy to Play Volleyball for Team USA Exact Sports!

This November, our daughter, a senior at Bryant High School, has been invited to represent the Exact Sports Volleyball Team in Milan, Italy. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete internationally, gain exposure for her college recruitment, and represent our community on a stage no other athlete from our area has experienced.

She has been recruited by several colleges and has kept a 3.7 GPA since the 8th grade. Over the years, she’s proven herself as a dedicated student-athlete and a leader on and off the court. She’s played club volleyball for the last 4 years, competing at both regional and national levels. She mentors younger athletes at school, serves as a role model, and has participated in the Ambitious Girls mentoring program. This year, she was also honored as a Youth Empowerment Award (YEA) nominee for the Oliver Fitzpatrick Jr. Social/Recreational Award Finalist by the Jack & Jill of America, Inc., Greater Little Rock Chapter.

Athletics have always been part of her story, she’s been captain of her basketball team (school & AAU), ran track (school & AAU), and eventually decided to focus her energy on volleyball. But her determination goes far beyond sports. At just 10 years old, she launched her own business selling lip gloss and nail polish, and she created the city’s first Kidpreneur Day, an event that gave her peers a space to sell their own products to the community and earn money in a positive, empowering way during the summer. She hosted the event successfully for three years in a row. Today, she balances school, sports, and a part-time job, braids hair on the side, and still manages to shine in the classroom and on the court.

We’re incredibly proud of her. Her twin brothers are college athletes graduating this December, so this is a big year for our family, a house full of seniors! While we’ve never been rich in money, we’ve always strived to make our children rich in experiences. Unfortunately, with the cost of college and multiple milestones happening at once, we can’t afford the expenses for this trip on our own.
