Hi, my name is Shannon Reeves and my sister and I are fundraising on behalf of our dad, who recently suffered a severe stroke caused by a blood clot in his internal carotid artery and brain. The stroke has left him with significant speech impairment, and doctors have told us it’s highly unlikely he’ll ever drive or live independently again.

This news has been incredibly hard to process, but we’re doing everything we can to stay hopeful and focus on his recovery. My sister and I are his only immediate family, and while we’re committed to supporting him, the financial burden ahead is overwhelming.

We’re raising funds to help cover his ongoing medical care, speech and physical therapy, mobility assistance, and to make necessary changes to his living space to accommodate his new needs. Any support—no matter the amount—will go directly toward giving our dad the best possible chance at healing and comfort.
