Support our dads journey
Donation protected
Sometimes life presents us with opportunities to embrace community and the collective generosity of those around us. Some of you will already be aware of our Dad’s injury to his (non painting thank goodness ) hand some weeks ago. Like always, it’s been taken in his stride and life goes on despite having made ‘a real mess of it’ even 6 weeks later. We have recently found out that this may have just been the beginning of a signal to ‘slow life down’ as we now know that dad also has an advanced cancer of the Oesophagus.
For those of you who know our Dad, he is the epitome of humble, especially in his role as an artist. He has a quiet strength, is quick to laugh and is adored by all who meet him and work under his guidance or just enjoy his company. Being as humble as both of our parents are, this page was definitely not asked or wished for by them. They are the kind that give for the joy of it, without expecting anything in return. It goes without saying that we want his creative energies to be flowing for many many years to come and whilst he has a tough hill to climb, he is surrounded by a mini army of united family members and friends. Please see this as a way for you to support the journey ahead if you choose. The money raised will go towards treatment, making their house and studio suitable and safe, or to a possible relocation. Your love and positive energy are equally as valuable. As his children (all 5 of us) we believe that people may want to show their love through a financial contribution and for this we are so grateful, only if you want to and what you feel is right for you.
Our heartfelt thanks!
