Hi everyone, we are reaching out to ask for support for our dad. Todd was recently diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Cancer. We are relieved to finally know what is wrong but getting this diagnosis has been incredibly hard on our family.
My dad started experiencing severe pain back in October 2025. We spent months going back and forth to Advocate hospitals for endless labs and biopsies but we kept coming up empty-handed. In late February my parents decided to transfer his care to Northwestern, after finding out the previous hospital had biopsied the wrong rib which set us back again.
That careless mistake cost us precious time. If it weren't for that error my dad could have already finished his first cycle of treatment. Instead we lost four months and his condition only worsened while we fought to get him the standard of care he deserves.
Now that he is finally in the right hands the doctors have laid out an intensive treatment plan. It involves chemotherapy and radiation and will last through at least July 2026.
Anyone who knows our dad knows he is the rock of our family. He is an amazing husband to our mom Bernadeta and the best dad to Alicia (21) Maya (15) and Faith (11). For his entire life, he has been the rock for our family.
He is fighting with everything he has, but the hardest part of this battle hasn't just been the physical pain but also the heartbreak of no longer being able to provide for his family.
He has been out of work since October. With treatments lasting through the summer, the everyday expenses like the mortgage and medical bills are piling up fast. We want to take this heavy financial weight off his shoulders so he can just focus on his treatments and getting back to us.
If you are able to donate to help our family stay afloat right now we would be so incredibly grateful. If you cannot donate simply sharing this link with your network means just as much to us.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting our dad.
