My family is going through something we never thought we’d face. My dad is in a difficult legal situation that stems from his struggles with mental health. He means the absolute world to us and we believe he deserves a fair chance but can’t afford an attorney that he needs for that to happen. He has always been the person we lean on but right now he’s the one who absolutely needs support and we can’t do it alone.

This situation has caused him to miss so much, including two of his kids leaving for college and another starting high school, milestones every parent dreams of being part of. Unfortunately he is now facing charges in which his mental health played a big role in. At the time he wasn’t in the right state of mind to know what he was doing and to comprehend the magnitude of what was done. We believe that without proper legal support the system won’t see him for who he is. He is someone who deserves help and treatment.
