Support Our Cross-Country Move to Safety

Hi friends!

I don’t like asking for help, but this is something that is important to me and that I’m not sure I’ll be able to do on my own.

In June our lease is up and myself and my roommates plan to move (practically cross country) from Colorado to Massachusetts.

This move is happening four months sooner than I previously thought. It has left me with barely two months to save up for the moving costs, which on their own are pretty pricey. Recent circumstances have also left me living nearly paycheck to paycheck. That means between necessities and rent at our current place, I don’t have a lot of wiggle room to save. To make sure I can bring with me all the parts of my life I’ve gathered while living in CO, and to make sure my first month in MA goes as smoothly as possible, I’m trying to raise $1,500 to cover the most important parts of my expenses!

The good news is that if I meet my goal, I’ll be moving to a sanctuary city in MA, which will also be closer to my family and friends in the north-east. As someone who is queer and disabled, this move will do wonders to help ensure my future safety, and to help strengthen my support system.
