Our cousin, Dr. Tash, is the doctor who rushes to save others. She served on the frontlines of the pandemic and never hesitated to help at roadside accidents. At just 32, this incredible healer is now in the fight for her own life.

Tash was recently diagnosed with an aggressive thyroid cancer that has already spread to her liver. During a recent biopsy, a rare complication caused life-threatening internal bleeding, landing her in the ICU and hospitalized for weeks.

She survived, but her battle is just beginning.

After serving our community tirelessly, Tash was laid off this past April due to US federal budget cuts in UN-IOM.

Her new job’s insurance is critically limited, covering only a fraction of the immense costs for the thyroidectomy and multiple rounds of chemotherapy she urgently needs in the coming months.
