On June 24th, 2025, at 5 am, Tyler's 2016 Subaru Forester caught fire while on the way to work. The car was having minor issues, but nothing to lead us to believe that this would take place.

The Subaru was our only form of transportation. Thankfully, the insurance and gap will cover the payoff of the Subaru. Now, we are at the mercy of the insurance company until the claim is resolved.

However, this leaves us vehicle-less and we live 1 1/2 hours from Tyler's place of employment.

He is an electrician for the IBEW 49 and is working in Cumberland City, TN.

The plan is to find a used vehicle just to get us from point A to point B. If we are able to raise what would cover something like this, it would be a huge relief. We are very grateful for any help received.

In the short term, Tyler thankfully has a coworker who has gone 30 minutes out of his way to help make sure he makes it to work until we are able to figure something out.
