I am Anita, a community member who is working to help people affected by ICE in our area. Tamara's full story is below, but I have set up this gofundme to help her offset living expenses during this time. All funds will go directly to Tamara to be used by her for living expenses while she deals with the fallout from her courageous act standing up against unidentified, masked men abducting a member of her community. I stand with her, and I hope you will as well.

Chaos and fear poured over the East End on Nov 5th when ICE showed up in Westhampton NY to pull community members off the streets without warrants.

8 people are still unaccounted for from the from Nov 5th ICE action.

Tamara Mayorga-Wong saw masked unidentified men putting a community member into custody and she responded with her heart.

While the legal process plays out in court, please help to cover her mounting expenses.

Her message is not one of violence or disregard for the law. She along with many Americans are not able to accept what ICE is doing as what we should stand for in our country. No warrants. Masks. Unidentified men. This is not America. She had no way of knowing what was happening to this community member.
