Jesus calls each of us to be peacemakers, and the United Reformed Church works and prays for a just and equitable peace in Ukraine.

The Reformed Church in Transcarpathia in Ukraine, together with the Reformed Church in Hungary, work directly to support Ukrainian refugees and internally displaced persons (IDP's). They have asked the URC for help, and the General Assembly of The United Reformed Church wishes to honour that request.

Through Commitment for Life, the URC's Global Justice Programme, the URC can make a difference. We remember very well how in 1946 the Reformed Church in Transcarpathia so generously helped us rebuild following the devastation of WWII. It's our turn to help them.
