Support our Champion-Glodean's Lung Cancer Journey

This is our friend Glodean Champion. Her smile tells you everything you need to know about her. To meet her is to know and feel a divine expression of love, realness, and joie de vivre.

What you don’t know is that Glodean is an ambassador for love! Not only does she embody love, she also teaches and spreads love wherever she goes. In 2022, she actually drove across the country just to find out if people believed that love is the bridge that connects us (they do, btw, according to her research). She loves sharing that experience and how not one person turned her away. It’s easy to believe because she has never met a stranger and prides herself on leaving everyone she encounters feeling better than she found them.

In August, 2023, Glodean caught a cold that ended with a persistent hacking cough. By November, that cough led to a bronchoscopy (biopsy) that diagnosed her with Stage III non-small cell lung cancer. A week later, after a follow-up MRI and PET scan, it was upgraded to Stage IV because the cancer has spread to her brain, adrenal glands, and stomach. This is just the beginning of her journey and we know she’s not going down without a fight. No matter what cards she’s been dealt in life, she always manages to hold on to her positive attitude and finds reason to share her smile with the world.

She has also touched many lives doing the work that she loves as a speaker, consultant, and storyteller. When she can’t do this meaningful work, she doesn’t get paid, which is why we created this gofundme. It’s our heartfelt appeal for financial support. We believe the love she has put out into the world will come back to her. We need her smile, love, and her voice…her work is not over!

Glodean and her baby dog, Tashi, live alone. So we want to make sure she can continue to care for herself and Tashi, as well as cover any unexpected and/or uncovered medical treatments, hospital stays, health and wellness, life expenses, and any other unforeseen circumstances that may pop up along the way.

Your contribution, no matter the size, will be a significant part of helping to support our Champion. If you are unable to contribute, sharing this fundraiser is just as good. Either way, it is a testament to the bonds that bind us and a reminder that in love, unity, and community there is an unbreakable strength.
