Dear friends,
I’m reaching out to ask for your support for our dear friend and brother, Ernie Palacios. Last week, Ernie suffered a major hemorrhagic stroke, which caused bleeding in his brain due to extremely high blood pressure. He has been in critical condition in a hospital in San Antonio under the care of his sister, Grizelda. Last night, by the grace of God, he finally opened his eyes, which is a good sign. While he is still not very responsive, we are holding onto hope and praying for his recovery as doctors work to wean him off the ventilator. He is still in very critical condition and not yet completely out of the woods.
Many of you know Ernie as a loyal friend, a joyful presence, and someone who would give the shirt off his back to help others. He recently moved back to San Antonio to care for his mother before she passed away last year, and he was between jobs at the time of his stroke.
Ernie has a long road ahead, and we want to ease the burden of the medical bills and ongoing care that he will need. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference in his recovery journey. If you can’t contribute financially, please send prayers and positive thoughts his way.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me anytime.
Thank you for your kindness and support. Let’s rally around Ernie in his time of need!
