Support Our Breast Cancer Fight

Hi friends and loved ones —

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having a double mastectomy on August 11. Over the next few months, I’ll be traveling every week to Oʻahu for treatment, while navigating recovery, time away from work, and the extra expenses that come with healing, childcare, and staying afloat as a solo parent.

For those who have asked how they can help—your support, love, and kind words mean more than we can say. And those who have already helped we thank you so much. It’s never expected, but any contribution, big or small, truly lightens the load.

Update: After surgery they found one tumor to be 6x the originally estimated size, as well as spread to my lymph nodes. This will mean a much longer road with the next step being chemo and radiation. I am now officially a stage 3, but we are staying positive and working our way towards the cure!
