Our Sweet Ivy Needs Your Help
Meet Ivy, our 7-month-old puppy who has stolen our hearts and fills our lives with joy every single day. She's the most cheerful, adorable, and lovable pup imaginable, and she truly means the world to us. She's also the beloved little sister of Shaka, our 6-year-old German Shepherd.
Our world recently turned upside down when Ivy was diagnosed with Parvovirus. Even though she is fully vaccinated, puppies can contract this dangerous virus. Unexpected complications have made Ivy's situation even more critical: kidney and liver failure, and a bleeding disorder. These are not typical symptoms of Parvovirus, which requires specialized, intensive care.
Ivy is currently hospitalized at Sage Veterinary Centers, and is receiving around-the-clock care from their incredible team. She's fighting hard, but she's in a lot of pain. Shaka misses his little sister terribly and is patiently waiting for her to come home.

Raising Awareness and Seeking Support
In addition to helping Ivy, the goal is to raise awareness among puppy owners. It's crucial for everyone to understand that even fully vaccinated puppies can be susceptible to Parvovirus. This is why it is important to be vigilant, practice good hygiene, and follow veterinarian's recommendations to minimize a puppy's risk of exposure, especially in public areas where unvaccinated dogs may have been present.
The cost of Ivy's intensive care, including hospitalization, medications, and treatments, is escalating rapidly. Parvo treatment itself can cost thousands of dollars, and the added complications mean even more extensive medical needs.
Support is requested to help save Ivy's life, as the veterinary bills are beyond means. The goal is to raise $30,000 to cover her medical expenses and give her the best possible chance at recovery. Any unused donation will be donated back to local animal shelter to support other dogs in need.

How Donations Help
Donations will directly cover the costs of Ivy's care at Sage Veterinary Center, including:
• Hospitalization and specialized care
• IV fluids and medications to combat dehydration and support organ function
• Antibiotics to fight secondary infections
• Treatments for kidney and liver failure and the bleeding disorder

Please Help Bring Ivy Home
Every donation, no matter the size, brings Ivy back home, healthy and happy, and back to her loving brother Shaka and her parents. Sharing Ivy's story with your network is just as valuable as a donation.
Most importantly, if you are unable to provide a financial donation, please keep Ivy in your thoughts and prayers. Your positive energy and well wishes are greatly appreciated and are a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time.
Gratitude is extended for your love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for helping fight for Ivy's life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Tina, Jacob, and Shaka
