We are a group of five friends and fellow soldiers, all serving together in the Army GEOINT Battalion at Fort Belvoir. As a close-knit team, we are always looking for ways to challenge ourselves, grow stronger, and honor the legacy of those who came before us. This March, we are taking on a new challenge: traveling to White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, to participate in the Bataan Death March. This event holds deep meaning for us, as it commemorates the bravery and sacrifice of the soldiers who endured the original Bataan Death March during World War II. We are inspired by their story and motivated to push ourselves physically and mentally, not only to honor their memory but also to become better, more well-rounded soldiers and friends.

Participating in this event requires us to cover all of our own expenses, including plane tickets, hotel accommodations, and a rental car. We are taking leave from our duties and paying for everything out of our own pockets because we believe so strongly in the importance of this experience. However, the costs add up quickly, and we are reaching out to our community for a little help. Your support will make it possible for us to take part in this meaningful event without carrying the full financial burden alone.
