Amber’s Sweet Shoppe

On Tuesday, March 4, in the early morning hours, a tornado and destructive winds came through our area! The ceiling was ripped off and caused lots of water damage to the bakery, kitchen, and production area. The entire building flooded, and we're still in the process of cleanup and repair!

Lots of inventory and products have been destroyed. We are still without electricity and are unaware if any equipment can be salvaged or not! Majority of the immediate cleanup included inventory that can be replaced! I am grateful that the destruction is only minor compared to others! This particular day, I felt the need to stay late and finish up orders instead of coming in extra early because the area of roof that was ripped off caused some parts of the ceiling to collapse directly over my workstation!
