Hi, my name is Aldis, I am the founder of Nourish the Soul Panaderia. We are a seasonal bakery currently popping up at farmers markets around the LA area, as well as in retail and coffee shops.

About a year ago, we took the leap from being a cottage bakery to operating out of a commercial kitchen space. It was a big step for us and meant taking a financial risk on the business including taking on loans to get our operation up and running.

Our production relies heavily on a freezer, this summer, after needing multiple repairs, our freezer finally went out of commission. Along with the cost of those repairs, we also lost a lot of product.

We are a very small bakery, margins have been tight this year as we continue investing in the business. In order to keep things running properly, we urgently need a working freezer. Unfortunately, I don't have a big budget to purchase a new freezer, nor do I have the financial bandwidth to take on another loan.

Since losing the freezer, a handful of wonderful customers, and acquaintances have generously sent donations to help us get back on our feet. After much consideration, I decided to open this fundraiser and ask our community for a little more help.
