Help Our Aunt Get Her Hip Surgery

My family and I are reaching out for support to help our aunt ("Tia Hilda") in Venezuela, who fell on November 27 and suffered a severe injury that resulted in a broken femur. She urgently needs a hip prosthesis surgery, which costs $6,500 USD, plus additional medical expenses related to the procedure and her recovery.

We have been able to gather $4,250, but we are still $2,250 short of the total amount required to move forward with the surgery. Unfortunately, there is no insurance coverage in Venezuela that can help with this type of procedure, and without the operation, her mobility, independence, and long-term health are at serious risk.

Why This Matters

Our aunt is the oldest sister on my mother’s side and has always been a pillar of strength for our family. She helped raise and support my mother through her education and has always been the person who steps up for others.

Now, my family in Venezuela needs my help more than ever. She is in pain, unable to walk, and waiting for this surgery to regain her mobility and quality of life.

Mi familia y yo estamos solicitando apoyo para ayudar a nuestra tía Hilda en Venezuela, quien se cayó el pasado 27 de noviembre y sufrió una lesión grave que resultó en la fractura del fémur. Ella necesita con urgencia una cirugía de prótesis de cadera, cuyo costo es de $6,500 USD, más los gastos médicos adicionales relacionados con el procedimiento y su recuperación.

Hemos logrado reunir $4,250, pero aún nos faltan $2,250 para completar el monto necesario y poder realizar la cirugía.
