Recently our aunt got diagnosed with cancer and she is scheduled for surgery on February 18th. Our family wanted to get together and help cover some of her medical and recovery expenses that she will have to deal with after surgery.

This is especially heavy for her and our family because she has faced deep loss, having lost her husband to cancer. She is now bravely fighting her own battle against this awful disease. We want her to be able to focus on healing and recovery after her surgery, not the financial stress that it will bring. Between surgery, hospital stay, medications and follow up treatments, the expenses go far beyond what our family can manage alone.
