Support Black Beanz on World of Dance TV Show

You can make a difference by donating today to the Black Beanz dance troupe sponsored by Shanti Community Farms.

We need additional funding to support a full week-long trip to Southern California where the Black Beanz will be featured on the World of Dance TV show, August 11-14, 2023!

Breakdown of Expenses:

Flight for 9: $5000

Lodging for 9: $2000

Food and Ground Transportation: $1500

Participation Fees: $1500

SCF’s mission is to build new immigrant participants’ farming skills in their new home country while integrating their already-acquired skills from their agricultural heritage. The ultimate goal is for new immigrant and refugee participants to become self-sufficient in their farming practices to acquire the ability to make their own livelihood from farming and educate the public about this. Immigrant youth and their family's projects include ESL classes, Farm-to-School summer camp, Yard Corps, A Golden Time Picnics and Cultural Pop Performing Arts, including Black Beanz and Hot Pepperz.
