Support Our Annual Cemetery Flower Decoration

Hello my name is beatriz i'm doing this.gofundme in memory of my son and in memory of your loved one who are resting in peace here in assumption cemetery in simi valley.On December 16th,2022 my son passed away. It's hard to lose a son.when I came to cemetery to lay down my son here. The first year on November 2 the month is called el dia de los muertos or all souls' day. My husband and I talked about the day coming up how are we going to decorate the grave. My husband said if we're going to decorate it, we should also put flowers At other graves that are next to our son. They also need flowers. There was a person named Robert who we met in the cemetery. He had his wife also on the cemetery. He heard us talk about that day. He said that he liked the idea, and he like to donate some money and he did. My husband said, okay, whatever you donate. I'll match it and robert donated it 500 hundred my husband also donated 500 total of 1000 with that money. They went and bought flowers for that day. That first year, they did almost half at the cemetery in flowers. When people saw that, how beautiful it was. They came to us and say they want to help for next year to make it much beautiful. We said, definitely, we'll do it again next year november 2nd came around the corner again. Second year.2024 the people came to the cemetery to donate they also called us you can see on the pictures when people get together and donate, we can accomplish anything. November 2 2025 it's around the corner This is gonna be the third year and we would like to keep doing this. My husband and I would like your help. We cannot do this. without you people. There's one more thing if you like go to the internet and look at simi valley acorn november 9 2024 on page 14 they published this on the newspaper. We never expect this to happen. We are grateful to be here still and do this again. I hope we can do this each year. And making it much better and hope we can do other cemeteries, too.
