For the first time since 1995 (Mustang Hockey Association) and 2017 (Anchorage North Stars) Tier II program has claimed the State Championship and secured a spot to represent Alaska at the USA Hockey National Tournament in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This is a monumental achievement, and now, we need YOUR help to get these young athletes to the Nationals and show the country what they're made of!

The Story Behind the Team: The team is a blended co-sponsored team, made up of players from both the Anchorage North Stars and the Mustang Hockey Association. These two organizations set aside their own interests for the greater good of these young athletes, coming together to create a single team in 2023. It all started when a group of players was left without a team, struggling to find a place to continue playing.

With dedication, hard work, and a shared vision, a group of three dedicated coaches helped transform these players from the bottom of the state rankings to State Champions in just two years! Through leadership, teamwork, and sacrifice, these young men have proven what can be accomplished when you put the team above all else.

The Challenge Ahead: The cost of sending the team to Kalamazoo is staggering—an estimated $40,000 for travel, lodging, and other expenses—and we only have two weeks to raise the funds needed. This is where we need your help.
