Hi,

My name is Sara Flannery, and I am proud to be an ESL teacher in a high-achieving, caring high school in Southeast Pennsylvania. One of our talented students needs our immediate support.

She recently lost a parent in her home country in Latin America. The family members who lived in our area have chosen to move to Philadelphia, about 45 minutes away from the high school she loves. She dreams of graduating from our school and attending a local community college with the hope of pursuing a career in nursing.

However, she was recently told that she must start paying rent on her own. She will have a job soon and wants to pay her way, but she needs our help to cover the cost of her small apartment until she can save enough. She will need to move to a homeless shelter after Friday, November 18th if she cannot pay before then.
