We are competing in the Global 48 Hour Film competition! We’ll have two days to write, shoot, edit, and submit a short film with a random genre, prop, line of dialogue, and character that we will receive when the two days officially begin. We’ll be competing against more than 70 other teams worldwide with professional crews and resources. Our team is small; made up of both experienced and new filmmakers, all striving to make the best film we can.

The competition requires that everybody competing is a volunteer—so nobody will be paid for this. We’re here because we’re passionate. But we need food, props, decorations, equipment, and other filmmaking materials. All expenses will be out of pocket, so any donation will help us greatly during this busy weekend!

The 48 Hour Film Project is probably the best filmmaking opportunity out there. It brings all sorts of people together and puts everybody on a level playing field. Beginners can shine alongside professionals. New filmmakers can (and do) get jobs. I’ve seen multiple filmmakers—myself included—launch their careers because of the 48hfp.
