If you've known me for the past eight years, you know that my life is wrapped up in a 35lb bulldog.

Otis came to me as a baby, his eyes weren't open yet, and he was the size of a hamster. We've been through it all together. He’s truly my best friend in every sense of the word.

He's facing daunting challenges at the moment and may be paralyzed for the rest of his life as the result of a degenerative neurological condition or spinal cord injury.

We’re waiting for more information and a concrete diagnosis, but in the meantime running every test under the sun.

The bills to save his life and help him recover are more than I can afford at the moment as I'm mid-move and struggling to stay afloat myself, so I'm coming to my community for whatever help they can offer.
