We are the Friends of Otis Hardy at First Methodist Church in Cary, NC. Otis Hardy has been giving back to the community for more than 20 years, and now he needs our help. We know Otis from his membership and volunteer work at the Methodist Church and the Bridge the Gap mission, which he co-founded.

Otis was an NC prison inmate and then a baker at the NC Governor's Mansion, where he met Gov. Jim Hunt. Gov. Hunt gave Otis a full pardon in 2000. That is when Otis discovered his mission, which is to help others in need. Otis often collects and delivers donations of clothing, food, and furniture. He focuses on helping the Southeast Raleigh community.

Otis, 79, lives in Raleigh, but his wife Wynella is undergoing cancer treatment in Wilmington. They both need a place to live. And they need help with rehab bills.

Otis has given and given to the community, and now it's our turn to help Otis and Wynella. Please give what you can. These funds go directly to Otis and Wynella.
