We’re Carlos and Steven, and we’re reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. Our amazing mom, Otilia Vega, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 2 gastric cancer.

Hearing the word “cancer” attached to someone you love so deeply is something you’re never truly prepared for. Our mom has always been the heart of our family—strong, selfless, and full of love. Now, she’s fighting a battle that no one should have to face alone.

The road ahead includes intensive treatment: surgery, chemotherapy, and countless medical appointments. As we focus on being there for her every step of the way, we’re also facing the reality of mounting medical bills, transportation costs, and time away from work to support her.
