Hi, my name is Oso and I was rescued from the streets of El Salvador on Saturday night. I’ve been through something terrible — someone attacked me with an axe, leaving me with a deep, infected wound filled with maggots that began eating away at my skin.

Right now, I’m receiving medical care, but the costs are very high. I’m also anemic, weak, and in urgent need of vaccines and continued treatment. I’m only about 2 to 3 years old — just a baby who deserves a second chance.
