Hi all,

I come to you hat in hand asking for help for our boy Oso. A few years ago, he had a really bad ear infection that took almost a year to completely sort. It went from ear to ear, very deep, and had the possibility to cause further health complications. More recently, a growth appeared in his ear.

We had the growth tested via biopsy and we've confirmed the possibility of cancer based on cell division. It's recommended we remove it ASAP, as if he scratches it it tears open and bleeds. Currently, he's living in a cone full-time. They've told us they're going to use part of his outer ear flap to graft where the growth is, so he'll be losing a chunk of his ear in the process.

His surgery is in two weeks and we need some help. The cost is substantial and I am facing a layoff any day due to the current state of the film/VFX landscape. I am selling as much as I can and we are both taking extra work anytime the opportunity arises, but we can't risk not having what we need.

The amount is based on an estimate. If we go over our cost in donations, we will donate the difference to our local shelter.
