Meet Oso, the 2-year-old Labrador with a heart as big as his smile! ❤️

Oso is a super sweet, gentle boy who has a love for people that’s truly contagious. His eyes light up whenever someone walks into the room, and his tail never stops wagging. He’s the type of dog who wants to snuggle up on the couch with you, follow you around the house, and just shower you with love. He’s a happy, affectionate companion who thrives in the presence of kind souls, and his joy is simply unmatched.

But Oso’s journey hasn’t been easy. He came to Animal Allies Humane Society with a condition that’s been holding him back from living his best life: hip dysplasia. It’s a painful condition that affects his joints, and as a result, Oso struggles with movement, making it difficult for him to walk and play like most dogs do. Every step is painful, and without proper treatment, his condition will only worsen.

Why We Need Your Help

While Oso’s condition may eventually require surgery, we’re not sure that’s the best option just yet. What we do know is that he needs immediate and ongoing care, including pain management, physical therapy, and specialized veterinary attention to help him live as comfortably as possible. The costs associated with this care are high, and Animal Allies Humane Society simply doesn’t have the resources to cover it all.

Oso deserves to live a life full of joy, with the ability to run and play without pain. He is such a sweet and loving boy, and we want to give him every chance to thrive.
