Hello, my name is Sarah Barkley. I am the owner of Sarah Pop-ins Pet Nanny. I have an amazing client who took in this sweet Rottweiler, Osiris. Unfortunately, Osiris's owner died unexpectedly. He was in a crate when it happened. We're not sure how long he was in the crate. Family members are unable to take care of him, unfortunately. My client went to the house to get him, and he had clearly been in the crate for some time. Unfortunately, Osiris has a lot of changes going on at the same time: the loss of his owner, now in a foster home, and the poor baby has no idea what is going on.

The family fostering can use all the help they can get for him. They are not backed by a traditional rescue. This family took him in out of the kindness of their hearts. They are trying to set him up for success. Osiris is not neutered, and he needs to be as soon as possible. The prices given so far are between $1200 and $1500. We've tried calling a couple of the low-cost spay and neuter clinics, and no one will take him because of his size. One won't take him because he is a Rottweiler. He is the sweetest boy, and we all want what's best for Osiris, and it starts with him getting vetted and neutered. This can also help with food for this growing handsome boy.

The family that is currently fostering him has two dogs and a cat of their own, and they have children. So this is a very busy household, but they could not leave Osiris. They knew he needed love, kindness, and patience. They knew they needed to help. But as most of us know, when something comes along that we are not really ready for, money can be tough.
