Support Osei Hinds' Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Melissa Hinds. On April 4, Osei Hinds, my husband, a very active and healthy 38 year old, suffered a massive stroke. He required an emergency craniectomy (brain surgery) to save his life.

Osei was intubated for four days and spent more than three weeks in hospital. He is still recovering and needs help to ensure that his quality of life returns to normal.

Osei was working and has some health insurance. However, there are major gaps that have now caused medical bills to accumulate. This has left a deficit in his treatment plan. He requires speech, occupational and other forms of therapy which are not covered by his insurance. He also requires an additional planned surgery in the near future.

Osei and I have two young daughters and are expecting our third child in August 2024. Any amount you're willing to contribute will be used to pay medical bills, different forms of therapy and loss of income.
