Our lovely boy Oscar Pancho Vasquez-Franco was diagnosed with cancer (lymphoma) in April of 2025 and unfortunately will be crossing the rainbow bridge on Monday June 30th 2025 . He came into our lives in February of 2021; he was a surprise gift for my grandma (Sylvia), a late Valentine’s Day gift. Even though his life was short-lived, it was the best four, almost five, years of our lives with him. He survived three dog attacks, especially a very bad one two days after his 2nd birthday! He was a fighter; he pulled through and still loved every dog that came his way.
Everyone in the neighborhood on the West Side of Saint Paul knew who Oscar was. He would go on long one/two mile walks with his papa (Benito). Rain, snow, or shine, they would walk in any weather (if he wasn’t being lazy). He loved all the kids or teens that got off the bus after school, his best friend the mailman, and his neighbors. Anyone who would walk by, he would show love to because that’s who he was, a sweet, loving, very vocal boy.
All donations will go to his leftover medical bills and cremation expenses ️. We thank everyone who got to meet him and wanted to see him, and we appreciate the support, especially my lovely grandparents because this was their boy, their son .
Thank You
