Oscar Benjamin, better known to many as Oscar B, is a beloved entertainer from Trinidad and Tobago who has spent over 30 years in the music industry sharing his voice, talent, and energy with audiences. Over the years, Oscar performed with many well-known bands including Black Sheep, Blue Ventures, Gayatones, and the legendary Byron Lee and the Dragonaires. Through his music and performances, he brought joy to countless people and became a familiar and cherished figure in the entertainment community.

Most recently, Oscar proudly relaunched his own band, Oscar B and the Band Vibes, continuing to do what he loved most — entertaining people and bringing music to life for his fans and community.

Recently, Oscar suffered a serious stroke that has dramatically changed his life and the lives of those who love him. He is currently facing a long and challenging road to recovery. At this time, he requires extensive medical care including stroke rehabilitation, physical therapy, speech therapy, medication, and ongoing hospital care.

Stroke recovery is a difficult process, but with the right rehabilitation and support, there is hope for improvement. Unfortunately, the cost of the treatment and care he needs is significant and continues to grow.
