Dear Family, Friends and those who don't know me, I'm Nicole Delgado Ayala, and I'm thrilled to share a significant update with you. After 20 long years on dialysis, my husband Oscar Ayala is set to receive a kidney transplant, thanks to an anonymous donor. We're overjoyed and grateful for this second chance at a healthy life. He is scheduled for surgery on September 30th 2025 at Stanford Hospital.

My husband oscar Ayala and I have two amazing sons who have grown up to be our strength and help along many years during their childhood and young adulthood. We have faced many challenges and have lost faith along the way, at times, but have never given up as we held on to each other and the support of family and church friends who continue to pray for us.

As many of you know, my family and I organized a fundraiser last May 2024 to cover the costs of a necessary surgery. This surgery was a crucial step towards becoming eligible for the transplant list. We're humbly asking for your support as we navigate this challenging journey. This will help cover the costs of lost wages to be able to care for my husband as he will require around the clock care during the recovery phase of 6-8 weeks, as we will relocate temporary during this time for one month in Palo Alto.

All funding will go towards pre & post transplant care, surgery, medications, transportation to appointments, lost wages and all other necessities.
