Coach Oscar is part of our Brooks Collegiate Family. He is admired for his compassion and patience with all of our students and is well-loved by anyone who crossed paths with him. Friday morning Oscar was feeling ill and asked to go home.  He had his daughter drive him to the hospital where he suffered a massive heart attack.  According to the doctors he "died" four times in the Emergency Room before they could get him stabilized.  He has had to have three stents put in and although It was a very scary day, this morning he is feeling better and things look very hopeful.  We are so thankful that it looks like he is going to be okay!  This will be a difficult time for him as a single father of two children with an extended absence from work. 

If anyone knows Coach Oscar, you would know that he has a huge heart and his compassion is contagious. Please help support this time of need for him and his family as he recovers from this unexpected emergency.
