The Orrville Historical Society has worked very hard to keep Orrville's history alive and well for our community. It is our goal to keep the beautiful Smith Orr Homestead standing tall for generations to come. We rely on wonderful members who volunteer their time to share this rich history with the community.

Recently, we had a very unfortunate circumstance. One of our primary underground pipes between the Carriage House and Main House burst during the winter deep freeze. The City of Orrville Utilities made us aware of the issue because of the abnormal water usage. Even with generous help from the Utility Department, we are looking at a water bill for thousands of dollars. To correct this issue, our entire improvement/emergency fund is completely gone for the 2025 year.

We are asking for help from our generous community in helping us cover the costs of this disaster. We truly appreciate any donation that can be provided. It is our goal to continue serving the community with special events and historic displays for years to come!
