Orna and Matthew Walters, happily married Love Coaches and authors, are going through the proverbial "best of times/worst of times."

They've had a longtime dream to write a book to help the lovelorn of the world "get it right this time" by sharing the best of what they've used with clients in their private practice and that led them to their own long, close marriage. This professional vision came true - they got an incredible agent and book deal. And just as the ink was drying on the contract, and they were in intense rewrites and edits, Matthew was diagnosed with a serious cancer.

They only shared this scary news with their small inner circle, wanting to focus on finishing their book and getting Matthew help. He went through months of treatment and a big surgery, and all was successful. His amazing doctors expected him to have a full recovery. Over a year of scans and follow-up appointments have confirmed that all is well.

So last Summer Orna and Matthew gave up their apartment and hit the road and went on a book tour. They've been traveling the country and visiting friends while doing media appearances and book signings.

Last month they returned to Los Angeles to celebrate the holiday season and go through a few more routine appointments and were STUNNED, along with all of Matthew’s doctors, to discover what every cancer patient dreads - Matthew's cancer has metastasized elsewhere and he needs more care.

This news has them reeling. They're waiting on more tests before they make a final plan. They're pausing their tour, scaling back work, and in a need of a place to stay for a while so Matthew can rest and proceed with all next steps.

This is where their community comes in... they need funds to rent a place and pay a bunch of co-pays, and take time off. Mostly they need some peace and time to process things together.
