On the early morning of Wednesday, October 22, 2025, our beloved Orlando passed quietly in his sleep at the age of 44, after a courageous three year battle with cancer.

This was a long and heart-wrenching journey, marked by unimaginable struggle, strength, and grace. Orlando fought his illness with everything he had, even when the pain became too heavy to bear. He rarely complained, not because it was easy, but because he never wanted his family to see his suffering. His greatest concern was always for those he loved. He wanted to protect us, to shield us from the heartache he carried, and he did so with a quiet dignity that left us in awe.

Through every treatment, every sleepless night, and every moment of uncertainty, Orlando faced it with a gentle spirit and an unbreakable faith. His love for life, and for his family, never wavered. He continued to smile and to fill our days with warmth and love, even as his own strength began to fade.

Our family is heartbroken and devastated, but we are eternally grateful for the precious time we had with him. Those moments, his laughter, his stories, his hugs, will stay in our hearts always and forever. If Orlando taught us anything, it was what it truly means to persevere, to love deeply, and to trust in God’s plan, even when we don’t understand it.

As we begin to navigate life without him, our family is humbly asking for support to help cover funeral expenses and memorial arrangements. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us honor Orlando’s memory and give him the peaceful farewell he so deeply deserves.

En la madrugada del miércoles 22 de octubre de 2025, nuestro querido Orlando partió tranquilamente mientras dormía, a la edad de 44 años, después de una valiente batalla de tres años contra el cáncer.

Fue un camino largo y lleno de dolor, marcado por una lucha inimaginable, fortaleza y gracia. Orlando enfrentó su enfermedad con todo lo que tenía, incluso cuando el dolor se volvió demasiado difícil de soportar. Rara vez se quejaba, no porque fuera fácil, sino porque no quería que su familia viera su sufrimiento. Su mayor preocupación siempre fueron las personas que amaba. Quería protegernos, evitar que sintiéramos el dolor que él cargaba, y lo hizo con una dignidad silenciosa que siempre admiraremos.

Durante cada tratamiento, cada noche sin dormir y cada momento de incertidumbre, Orlando lo enfrentó todo con un espíritu gentil y una fe inquebrantable. Noong madaling araw ng Miyerkules, Oktubre 22, 2025, ang aming pinakamamahal na Orlando ay mapayapang pumanaw habang natutulog, sa edad na 44, matapos ang matapang na tatlong taong pakikipaglaban sa kanser.

Isa itong mahabang at masakit na paglalakbay — puno ng hindi masukat na paghihirap, lakas ng loob, at biyaya. Lumaban si Orlando sa kanyang karamdaman nang buong tapang, kahit sa mga sandaling napakabigat na ng sakit. Bihira siyang magreklamo — hindi dahil madali ito para sa kanya, kundi dahil ayaw niyang makita ng kanyang pamilya ang kanyang paghihirap.
