Hola, soy Orlando, y hoy (28/11/25) me encuentro en un momento decisivo: me dan de alta hoy después de sobrevivir tres cirugías de emergencia y semanas en cuidados intensivos por una septicemia severa.
El 16 de septiembre de 2025, mi apéndice explotó dentro de mi abdomen, causando una infección grave que puso mi vida en peligro. Gracias a Dios, fui atendido de inmediato por el Hospital Moscoso Puello, donde recibí una atención excepcional. Mi profunda gratitud hacia el hospital Quiero expresar mi inmensa gratitud a los médicos, enfermeras y todo el personal del hospital por su profesionalismo, generosidad y dedicación.
• Cada cirugía fue realizada con gran cuidado y excelencia médica.
• Durante los días en cuidados intensivos, recibí un trato humano y compasivo que me ayudó a mantener la esperanza.
• Gracias a su servicio, estoy vivo hoy — un milagro que nunca olvidaré.
El hospital cubrió todos los costos de mis cirugías y atención médica; estoy eternamente agradecido.
POR QUÉ NECESITO AYUDA AHORA Aunque el hospital me ha salvado la vida y cubrió todas las cirugías, mi recuperación continúa fuera del hospital, y no tengo recursos ni un lugar donde vivir.
Necesito ayuda para:
1. Vivienda segura por 2–3 meses Un lugar limpio, tranquilo y libre de riesgos de infección donde pueda descansar, recuperarme y recibir curaciones.
2. Cuidados médicos post-hospital • Material de curación (gasas, apósitos, desinfectantes). • Medicamentos (antibióticos, analgésicos, vitaminas). • Enfermera profesional para curaciones de la herida abdominal. • Transporte para consultas y estudios.
3. Alimentación nutritiva Para recuperar mis fuerzas tras una septicemia, necesito una dieta adecuada.
4. Apoyo emocional y espiritual Terapia psicológica para procesar el trauma y fortalecimiento espiritual para continuar adelante.
5. Regreso a Venezuela Mi mayor deseo es volver a casa, abrazar a mi familia y empezar de nuevo con salud y esperanza.

Hi, my name is Orlando. Today (28/11/25) is a critical day: I am being discharged from the hospital today after surviving three emergency surgeries and weeks in intensive care due to severe septicemia.
On September 16, 2025, my appendix exploded inside my abdomen, causing a life-threatening infection. Thanks to God, I was treated immediately at Moscoso Puello Hospital, where I received outstanding care.
My Deep Gratitude to the Hospital I want to express my immense gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and all the staff for their professionalism, generosity, and dedication.
• Every surgery was performed with great skill and medical excellence.
• During my days in intensive care, I received compassionate and human treatment that helped me keep hope.
• Thanks to their service, I am alive today — a miracle I will never forget. The hospital covered all costs for my surgeries and medical care; I am forever grateful.
WHY I NEED HELP NOW Although the hospital saved my life and covered all surgeries, my recovery continues outside the hospital, and I have no resources or place to live.
I need help for:
1. Safe housing for 2–3 months A clean, quiet space with no infection risk where I can rest, recover, and receive wound care.
2. Post-hospital medical care • Wound care supplies (gauze, dressings, disinfectants) • Medications (antibiotics, pain medication, vitamins) • Professional nurse for abdominal wound care • Transportation for appointments and lab tests
3. Nutritious food To regain my strength after septicemia, I need a proper diet.
4. Emotional and spiritual support Therapy to process trauma and spiritual strengthening to keep moving forward.
