My name is Orion, i’m 19, and I’m a servant, musician, athlete, leader, son, older brother, and a friend. I have a younger brother and sister. I come from a humble background with divorced parents and was raised Christian. I currently live in a little apartment with my mother and little brother. I have a wonderful church family who I am so grateful for and who has influenced my life in wonderful ways. I'm a leader at my youth group and am on the youth worship team. In middle school, I was blessed with a wonderful music program and have been playing the cello for 9 years. I have been working since I was 14 as a ranch hand, house sitter, housekeeper, and custodian. Currently, I do plumbing with my dad. From a young age, I learned to be independent and rely on others as little as possible. I was blessed with the opportunity to go to Kanakuk Kamps the last 3 years, where I grew in my relationship with the Lord and this last summer learned just what it meant to be a servant. I run a small Bible study with my friends where I have really begun my journey in leadership. I know the Lord has called me into ministry. What that looks like, I have no clue; I’m just letting Him steer me where He wants. However, through lots of prayer in asking the Lord what He has for me in this new chapter of life, He has led me to the YWAM program. For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a calling to lead and serve others. Recently, I felt God place it on my heart to take a leap of faith and join Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a missionary program that will help me grow as a leader and deepen my relationship with God. However, I need your support to make this happen! This program is split into two parts: a three-month discipleship training school, where I’ll learn and grow in a supportive community, and a two-month outreach, where I’ll put what I’ve learned into practice by serving others around the world.

The funds I’m raising will cover the cost of the discipleship training school, which includes food and board, as well as the outreach portion, which covers travel, food, and living expenses.
