Support Oriana’s Recovery

Our friend Oriana Sirit was a victim of a hit and run accident on March 16. The driver was swerving onto oncoming traffic on Lake Nona Blvd, resulting in a head on collision. Oriana spent 5 days in the hospital undergoing surgery for facial fractures and monitoring for trauma to the right eye.

The trauma has left her blind in her right eye and undergoing more procedures. The vehicle and owner are being investigated. Unfortunately, lawyers were not able to pursue compensation from the at fault party, and OPD is still conducting an investigation.

While we seek justice, this GoFundMe would go towards medical bills associated with the hospitalization and ongoing specialist appointments. Oriana is a bright nursing student, and any help will be appreciated as she learns to live with her new disability.
