Hello to my family, friends, loved ones, and community members! I am honored to share that I was selected to be a part of the 2025-2026 Humphrey Policy Fellows Program through the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs.

The Humphrey Policy Fellows program is one of the country’s most respected public affairs leadership experiences for emerging and mid-career professionals. Through the course of 9 months, myself and 30 fellows will be (1) deepening our knowledge of public policy through monthly workshops, (2) expanding our network through multi-day study trips to the Minnesota State Capitol and Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., and (3) design and implement collaborative projects affecting important local and regional issues.

As I begin preparation for the start of this program in September, I am asking for community support in financing this opportunity. The total program fee for each fellow is $11,000. I am in the process of applying for a partial scholarship and securing a financial contribution from my place of work. In the meantime, any amount that you can donate to support my professional journey would be immensely appreciated.

I am excited to share my takeaways from this experience with fellows organizers in Minnesota and across the country so we can collectively continue to find policy solutions that are humane, community-centered, and combats the rise of fascism to address affordable housing, immigrant rights, and labor protections.
