Hello Everyone meet my new 84 year old friend Oretha . About a month ago my second Mom Barb called me and asked me for a favor. She proceeded to tell me about her friend Oretha , she said she was recently widowed and her house was falling down around her . She was living and sleeping in her living room with space heaters as her furnace was not working do to a gas leak . I have helped her find an apartment and we are in the process of trying to get her moved , She is living on $1300 a month Social Security now that her husband died . She is not able to lift and pack boxes and I recently had a knee revision surgery so we are going to need to hire movers to pack and move her .

Any amount will help and 100% goes to Oretha and her moving expenses . Our goal is to get her on section 8 or income based housing but the wait list is 12-24 months so for now her rent is $770 per month
